Agilent 7890B GC
The Agilent 7890B Gas Chromatograph (GC) is a flagship analytical system designed for high-precision chemical separation and analysis. Built as a successor to the industry-standard 7890A, it incorporates advanced hardware and integrated intelligence to enhance productivity, data reliability, and resource management.
The core of the 7890B GC’s performance is its 5th-generation Electronic Pneumatic Control (EPC). This system allows for precise pressure setpoints with a resolution of 0.001 psi, which is essential for low-pressure applications and consistent Retention Time Locking (RTL). The GC oven supports up to 20 ramps with 21 plateaus and can achieve temperature ramp rates up to 120 °C/min. The operating temperature range spans from ambient +4 °C to 450 °C, with cryogenic cooling options extending the lower limit to -80 °C using liquid nitrogen.

Agilent 7697A GC Headspace Sampler, 111 Vial
The Agilent 7697A is a headspace sampler utilizing a valve-and-loop mechanism with integrated Electronic Pneumatics Control (EPC), built on the same architecture as the 7890 GC and 7693A ALS. This unit is the high-capacity 111-vial tray version, which supports 10 mL, 20 mL, and 22 mL vials without the need for adapters. Operational flexibility is provided through several extraction modes, including standard single extraction and Multiple Headspace Extraction (MHE), which performs up to 100 extractions per vial for complex matrices.
